Pitch Bog

Hello everyone, welcome to my pitch blog!  For my group's potential pitch, I have decided to go with a darker more ominous route leaning towards horror. Pitch 1: A teenage girl meets her "perfect best friend." The two continue to bond yet it is later revealed that this "best friend" is a true stalker after all. For our more dramatic route:  Pitch 2:  A girl and her classmate wind up falling asleep under a full moon and wake up trapped in each other's bodies.  The pitch chosen is pitch 1, this film is one that is darker yet not too dark and appealing to my target audience, teenagers.

To begin, I am taking this class as it peaks my interest of film making and production. I have some decent prior experience in media studies as I took a TV Production class in middle school where we participated in filming film segments and commercials and even a music video! I find it interesting how society has become so reliant on technology to the point where it has practically become embedded in our everyday routines. Everyday we consume media through the film industry and never truly think about or understand the process behind how this media is created. Advertisements (TV commercials), movies, and television shows are all forms of media we consume, and learning to make them is fascinating to me. In this course I plan to learn all of the detailed and technical aspects of film making as well as experiencing the bigger
