Heather Music Video CCR!

Image
Hello everyone! Welcome to my CCR blog! These past few weeks undergoing the music video producing process have been fun. I originally felt as though this process would be quite the disaster as it would be more work than the previous commercial but this process was much more productive! Working with Sarah and Macaria was a great addition to the project. We were able to collaborate effectively and help each other when needed. I also appreciate David and Madison for helping the production of our music video as well. I am truly proud of this video!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the final Music Video Project Blog!  It has been a wonderful journey brainstorming, drawing out, and producing this music video. I am relieved to say we finished triumphantly! The song used is "Heather" by Conan Gray. The song tells the story of an envious love triangle. Conan, Macaria in this instance, is envious of her crushes love interest, Sarah. We hope this video encapsulates that theme of the song! I had an amazing time working with these two and production was very well and smooth. For our second production project, I definitely see some improvement already, and I cannot wait for future projects!

Editing Day 2!

Image
Hello everyone! Welcome to my second editing blog! Today's editing day was spent fully completing our video along with finishing up the final touches of the video as well. During the last week I spent some time absent so my group and I were tasked with working a bit more to catch me up on the flow of our video. This day was also spent getting all of our collaborative efforts to complete the music video. We spent time uploading each of the scenes to iMovie and adjusting them to our needed time limits. During this time we also played around with different transitions like slow motion and merging clips to have a better visual affect to our video. Certain parts had to be sped up or slowed down to fit the correct lyrics we wanted for that scene. Overall, we were able to fully complete all the necessary editing in about two hours including all of the revisions and overlooking we did to make sure we had a good music video.  Since this is classified as our last "production day,"

First Editing Day!

Hello everyone! Welcome to my second production blog! In this blog we’ll be overviewing our first day editing! Filming on Friday was a stressful success. My group and I managed to complete all of the necessary filming in one day despite any setbacks. This definitely was needed and took a level of stress off of my group and I because the extra day gave us some extra time to edit and perfect our music video. The editing software we decided to use was iMovie. iMovie is quick and simple along with being very efficient to use. Today’s editing was too productive per day since we mainly focused on any technicalities such as matching up the certain scenes to the correct timing so we have an adequate story line. It was important to have precise timing because we needed to reach out time limit of one minute and fifteen seconds. It was also important to make sure we have certain significant lyrics of the songs match the acted/portrayed scene. After getting the timing right we actually began to p

Finally Filming!

Hello Everyone! Welcome to my first production vlog, my filming blog! Today is our first day back filming after the initial commercial project. My group and I anticipated this portion of production, however we felt that it would be a complete piece of cake since we’ve filmed before. My group and I were incorrect. Filming wasn’t necessarily difficult but it was quite the process. First off, we experiences some setbacks that had the potential to shut down our production for the day. The issues began with our videographer being short on time so we had to work quicker to get the most amount of footage from our quality videographer. Secondly, our actor David had been quite tired due to him having track practice beforehand. We had to do some re-shoots at times or suggest he splash water on his face since he appeared visibly tired. Despite the issues, my group and I were able to still get as much footage as possible and even more importantly, as many quality shots as possible. Another key co
