Another Hiccup

Image
Hi everyone! Welcome to my twelfth production blog. While things were going smoothly. Of course there was another hiccup. The big cheating scene I raved about completing, of course it was incorrect. Of the many errors in the scene I would accept such as noise in the background or people moving too much, I made the worst and most simple mistake. I shot the video vertically. honestly this has made me quite upset. As much fun as this film was, I am honestly so ready to move on from it. I love AICE Media and it’s been a fun two years taking the course but my oh my this film has been very consuming. Since today is Friday, I do have to wait almost a week to continue filming. Due to scheduling the only days designated to film were Tuesdays through Thursdays. Hopefully Elijah, Jasmine, and Laura can all make it. But it’ll all be okay. One thing I am reassuring myself of is that spring break is near so I’ll be able to utilize more than 3 hours 3 days a week to get things moving. Honestly, my b

Almost There

Hi everyone! Welcome to my 11th production blog. Finally almost there! So far, I would call this film journey fun, eventual, and mildly torturous. The main scenes needed for this film are the cheating scene, the park scene, the pre breakup scene, and the break up scene. Due to location issues, scenes that took place in Laura and Jasmine’s bedroom were done a little unconventional but in the end, the worked out. The scenes before the breakup scene, what i call the pre breakup scene, were filmed by Laura and Jasmine independently. Now, i think it’s appropriate for me to reveal the breakup scene. As discussed a few blogs back, I needed an element of chick flick drama. Since the film is a drama, I needed a dramatic confrontation/breakup scene to top it all off. The break up scene involves both Jasmine and Laura asking Elijah out to a dinner date. With both girls being so persuasive, Elijah ultimately agrees to two back to back dates. The plan is for Elijah to arrive at the restaurant with

Back on Track

Hi everyone! Welcome to my tenth production blog. In this blog, i’ll be discussing getting back on track. Unfortunately, so far I’ve only filmed one scene, the Wilton Creamery Scene. Although I wish I was further, it’s okay, I know that I can still get the remaining scenes in enough time. The park scene is what we worked on today. Honestly, filming this scene made me so upset to film. There was so much noise working around us and honestly it was so irritating. While it was annoying, it would be ignorant for me to spend time complaining. The park is a public place where any and everyone is allowed to be, and i must abide by social manners. However, during the filming, there was a playgroup of young children playing eat we were seated. Of course the park is huge, but for the magnitude of the scene, I wanted some structure so it’s not just an empty scene. The scene  we were filming was a scene with just Jasmine and Lauren. After Jasmine finds out she’s being cheated on, she goes home and
