Another Hiccup


 Hi everyone! Welcome to my twelfth production blog. While things were going smoothly. Of course there was another hiccup. The big cheating scene I raved about completing, of course it was incorrect. Of the many errors in the scene I would accept such as noise in the background or people moving too much, I made the worst and most simple mistake. I shot the video vertically. honestly this has made me quite upset. As much fun as this film was, I am honestly so ready to move on from it. I love AICE Media and it’s been a fun two years taking the course but my oh my this film has been very consuming. Since today is Friday, I do have to wait almost a week to continue filming. Due to scheduling the only days designated to film were Tuesdays through Thursdays. Hopefully Elijah, Jasmine, and Laura can all make it. But it’ll all be okay. One thing I am reassuring myself of is that spring break is near so I’ll be able to utilize more than 3 hours 3 days a week to get things moving. Honestly, my biggest lesson i’ve picked up is to always plan ahead. Even though I’m not exactly slacking, it’s still frustrating honestly. I have faith that all will go well and next time, i’ll remember to film HORIZONTALLY

 Hi everyone! Welcome to my sixth production blog. Honestly, school and life are getting incredibly hectic and i’m getting a little restless with this film. I know I have time so I plan to be a little lenient with timing, yet disciplined enough to meet my deadline. Today’s blog I will be doing a location check. So far with my film I’m about 80% okay and 20% mildly panicked. As far as scripts, promo, and filming time but, location is where I fall short. The issue with my team is that we all live such considerable distances and have such busy schedules. As far as living goes, the distance already stresses me. The only common ground we have is Fort Lauderdale High. Ironically, the only location we have in common is the one location we aren’t allowed to film at. Laura and I are the only ones with proximity to each other. Laura and I both live in Davie which is good for us.  Hello everyone, welcome to my Planning Blog! In this blog the general commercial plan will be discussed for my Gatorade Protein Bar commercial partnered with David Brown! The general overview of the commercial is to portray our core athlete, David Brown, who will be a track star consuming the bar before he begins his sprint along the track. The commercial begins by a wide shot zooming in capturing David doing some stretches and setting up the track obstacles to prepare for his sprint. The next scene will cue to David eating the bar while looking victorious in the face getting ready to run the track. David then sets the bar down on a table and moves away. After this another wide shot scene will play out with David in his starting stance preparing to dash the track.  Coming of age films are drama films that typically portray the moral growth of the main character from youth to adulthood, or a more matured state of mind. C.A.M.S (camera angles, movement, shots) - close up angles:  Coming of age films want to strongly present the range of emotions the character goes through as the develop and mature. Close up angles help to produce this by giving close ups to the character's face emphasizing these portrayed emotions.  - cut away camera movements:  Cut aways are camera movements that show the bigger objective shot of the scene then cut to individual important objects in the scene.
