Hello everyone! Welcome to my Title Website Research Blog!

The title of a film plays a major part in how the film is conveyed. Titles give visual and verbal insight to what the play is about, a common theme found in the film or basically a word that connects to the significance of the film. 

I took to using the resources of Artofthetitle.com along with Watchthetitles.com to gain more insight on the backstory and construction behind titles. 

Beginning with Artofthetitle.com, I really did enjoy researching this sight. Art of the Title is very thorough. The site not only shows you each title but also shows the sequence along with the title, title significance such as awards its' won and the title's connection to the film and what the title's artwork and assisting graphics convey. For example, the title surrounding the series "Little America" is explored on the website. The series is one centered around the stories of immigrants living in America. The titles of the show per each episode title sequence alternate by being showcased on multiple staple locations in American suburbia. American staples such as car dealership signs, shopping malls, gas station etc. The titles even take it a step farther by alternating different decades in which the titles take place such as the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The clever design aspect of these titles helps to wrap together the all American unifying feel from the show. 

This close examination of titles helps to give knowledge on how titles impact following aspects of a film. This sight provides you a multitude of titles and their sequences which is important. 


Similar to Artofthetitle.com, Watchthetitle.com also is organized by examining titles and going into detail about the structure and design of each title.
Watchthetitle goes in detail explaining every single sequence and how the visual of the title sequence correlates to what the show is trying to convey. Watchthetitle also dives deeper into the creative aspect behind title design by talking about the designers behind the various title sequences. For example, the title design process is briefly examined for the film Bedtime Stories. The film follows a handyman who is facing the odd scenario of all of the bedtime folklore and classic children's stories he would recite to his niece and nephew coming to life. The sight talks about the multiple creative directions took to create the perfect title sequence such as the main designer Thomas Allen getting inspiration for the children's book style title sequence from him becoming a recent father taking inspiration from the children's books he would read to his baby.

Another Hiccup

 Hi everyone! Welcome to my twelfth production blog. While things were going smoothly. Of course there was another hiccup. The big cheating scene I raved about completing, of course it was incorrect. Of the many errors in the scene I would accept such as noise in the background or people moving too much, I made the worst and most simple mistake. I shot the video vertically. honestly this has made me quite upset. As much fun as this film was, I am honestly so ready to move on from it. I love AICE Media and it’s been a fun two years taking the course but my oh my this film has been very consuming. Since today is Friday, I do have to wait almost a week to continue filming. Due to scheduling the only days designated to film were Tuesdays through Thursdays. Hopefully Elijah, Jasmine, and Laura can all make it. But it’ll all be okay.  Hello everyone, welcome to my Planning Blog! In this blog the general commercial plan will be discussed for my Gatorade Protein Bar commercial partnered with David Brown! The general overview of the commercial is to portray our core athlete, David Brown, who will be a track star consuming the bar before he begins his sprint along the track. The commercial begins by a wide shot zooming in capturing David doing some stretches and setting up the track obstacles to prepare for his sprint. The next scene will cue to David eating the bar while looking victorious in the face getting ready to run the track. David then sets the bar down on a table and moves away. After this another wide shot scene will play out with David in his starting stance preparing to dash the track.
