Eighth Production Blog - Editing All Day

Hello everyone! Welcome to my eighth production blog! In this blog we'll be following my day of editing.

The Final Task is almost passed. We're on crunch time as AICE exam season approaches stressing us all! Production, film, and personal efforts are being put to the test. Today was primarily spent on editing. Editing for me hasn't been too good I really don't like editing . Editing is something that I don't like to indulge in. But I am starting to learn and get better at editing as it goes on. I did have to overcome the "struggle" of meeting the 2 minute mark. I think I ad to go back and re-edit about 3 times. So far the best time I've gotten is 1:58 which is so far so perfect for me. A component of my sequence film requires a transition scene which at the moment I haven't mastered so seamlessly. Since I am using a more complex editing software, I think I might have to take more training sessions with my teacher to master. I did have to shorten and speed some scenes to go ahead and master the transitions but it's working out in it's own way, Unfortunately, I've seen no movement with the music. I initially contacted the artist's individual copyright teams but haven't heard back. To combat this I am deciding to take the royalty free route. I haven't secured the exact songs I will use, but Royalty Free has a vast selection that I am optimistic with.
