Sixth Production Blog - Film Review

Hello everyone! Welcome to my seventh production blog! In this blog we'll be going over my film review.

The final task is finally here and film and production skills are truly being put to the test as of now! In the past week I have taken to film I indefinitely have faced some filming setbacks. Issues from vertical filming to bad lighting fixtures have occurred. Finally, I have gathered all my necessary filming scenes to my liking and to what I believe meets up to par with film professionalism. However my own judgement can be quite biased. Film reviews require honesty and an unbiased opinion on your work so I decided that I needed to have those who are separated from me and have no incentive to fabricate the truth on the quality of my film. I initially was going to send my footage to my co-star Samantha Fernandez, however she is ecstatic about this film so I felt there would be some potential bias she has. I then selected three friends I knew who were socially notorious for never sugar coating anything, my friends Isabel, David, and Dony. These three had zero incentive to coddle my feeling on my film and genuinely gave me constructive criticism. I wanted to not only use my film review to see if the quality of my footage was good, but also if a good storyline was being portrayed. To make sure of this, I sent all of the clips to my friends in in order. After having them watch the clips, I had them tell me what storyline they felt was being portrayed. The feedback I received on the story line content was that I should cut the FaceTime scene since it takes away from the opening sequence element. This was a pretty big thing since this was the only scene Samantha Fernandez was in and she was really excited unfortunately! I think I'll still give her a minor producer credit for compensation! Anyways, the film quality critique I received the most was to re-film one of the gym scenes. Since I filmed three scenes and two of them were on a treadmill, I accidentally filmed the third one on a separate treadmill making it kind of awkward. So, I set out to film the scene again and all was well.
