Location Check



 Hi everyone! Welcome to my seventh production blog. In todays blog the objective will be checking our location. Last blog I discussed certain disputes about location. The only locations we were able to finalize was filming in Laura’s bed room, Jasmine’s bedroom and Wolf Lake Park in Davie. Now last blog I failed to consider our schedules so now we have to re-work our film locations. I realized that I’m laughably the only one of the group who is unemployed. Laura and Jasmine work on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Elijah works from Friday to Monday. This all works out leaving us Tuesday - Thursday to film. Now working around extracurriculars is another obstacle. Laura, Jasmine, and I are all in Model United Nations, a club that meets on Wednesday which was also a designated filming day. Now this realization lead me to reconsider some past choices. A key location needed for the plot is an ice cream/frozen yogurt shop. The shop works as the location where Jasmine find out her boyfriend, Elijah, is cheating on her. Initially, I planned on using Menchie’s in Davie but that’s just a dumb decision at this point. Location wise it is very far, and it completely inconveniences our designated filming days which are basically school days. A better alternative would be staying local to make things easier. This motivated me to choose Wilton Creamery as our choice of Film Location. Wilton Creamery is an ice cream shop in Wilton Manors, Florida which is easily a walking distance. This makes things easier since now, all we would have to do is walk right over after school and film. Luckily, I was able to get in contact with the manager and ask her permission to allow us to film in her store and she approved! Finally this location is set. Second, for the park scene with Laura and Jasmine is set in Wold Lake Park in Davie but once again, this is also a bad decision. Just as with Wilton Creamery would be using Sunview Park in Fort Lauderdale High to film. The park is walking distance from Fort Lauderdale High creating convenience. The last location we have to settle is the restaurant where the the confrontation scene begins. I was hoping of a restaurant like the cheesecake factory however, our breakup scene is quite messy so that can still up for question. Right now, it’s time to film

Another Hiccup

 Hi everyone! Welcome to my twelfth production blog. While things were going smoothly. Of course there was another hiccup. The big cheating scene I raved about completing, of course it was incorrect. Of the many errors in the scene I would accept such as noise in the background or people moving too much, I made the worst and most simple mistake. I shot the video vertically. honestly this has made me quite upset. As much fun as this film was, I am honestly so ready to move on from it. I love AICE Media and it’s been a fun two years taking the course but my oh my this film has been very consuming. Since today is Friday, I do have to wait almost a week to continue filming. Due to scheduling the only days designated to film were Tuesdays through Thursdays. Hopefully Elijah, Jasmine, and Laura can all make it. But it’ll all be okay.  Hello everyone, welcome to my Planning Blog! In this blog the general commercial plan will be discussed for my Gatorade Protein Bar commercial partnered with David Brown! The general overview of the commercial is to portray our core athlete, David Brown, who will be a track star consuming the bar before he begins his sprint along the track. The commercial begins by a wide shot zooming in capturing David doing some stretches and setting up the track obstacles to prepare for his sprint. The next scene will cue to David eating the bar while looking victorious in the face getting ready to run the track. David then sets the bar down on a table and moves away. After this another wide shot scene will play out with David in his starting stance preparing to dash the track.
